What is the jewellery made from?

My necklaces are made using silver plated settings, silver plated chains and silver plated clasps. The pendants are made with 100% cotton fabric with a metallic foil or vinyl design. I am researching the possibility of adding a sterling silver chain option to my range at an additional cost so will keep you posted - message me in the meantime if this is of interest and I will let you know what I can do.

Keepsakes & Bouquet Charms have a silver plated setting and single or double sided satin ribbon.

Earrings have sterling silver hooks or hoops and some charms are sterling silver.

Key Rings have a silver plated setting with a nickel plated or steel split ring for your keys.

How is the jewellery wrapped?

Necklaces & Key Rings are generally wrapped in tissue paper and popped in an Ellie Bea gift pouch - the tissue paper has a high recycled content and is recyclable after use.

Bouquet charms are presented in a gift box.

Birthday Pins are presented on a postcard and wrapped in tissue paper.

Pocket Hugs are presented on a small card in a printed pouch.

Your order is sent with a handwritten card and popped into a cardboard mailing box which is recyclable.

Can my order be sent directly to the recipient?

If you would like to send your order as a gift direct to the recipient, simply add their address in the delivery section and I will include a handwritten message card with your order. Write your message in the comments box at checkout and I will do the rest!

Can my order be personalised?

Several of my necklace, keepsake and key ring designs can be personalised - send me a message if you have any queries or requests.

I can't see what I want, do you do bespoke designs?

If you have something specific in mind, do let me know - many of the designs can be customised to suit your needs. I can't promise but will do my best!

Are the foil & vinyl designs quite resistant?

The foil and vinyl prints are pretty durable for everyday wear but please avoid getting them wet or rubbing/scratching it excessively.

How should I store my jewellery?
When not being worn, store out of the light in an airtight bag/box or in a lined jewellery box. This will help keep your jewellery away from moisture in the air and the light, which can lead to tarnishing.
Avoid contact with fragrance or body lotion. Please do not get your jewellery wet - always remove them before taking a shower. Remove all jewellery when you go to bed and during exercise as well, to avoid any damage.

Where should I store my seasonal decorations?

Do not keep seasonal keepsakes in the attic. Store out of the light in an airtight bag to keep it away from light & moisture, wiping the silver plated setting with a soft lint-free cloth to remove any signs of tarnish.

Does silver plate tarnish?

Silver plate & sterling silver can tarnish over time when it comes in contact with the air or moisture - a little extra care will keep it in tip-top condition. Make sure you regularly wipe over your chains and the pendant setting with a soft lint-free cloth taking care not to rub the plating too firmly.
